Getting Started

Now that you've determined Travelocity Connect is the right choice...

Follow these simple steps to get started with Travelocity Connect today.

Current GDS (Non-Extranet) Partners

  1. Determine if you will be doing the development in-house, or using one of our connectivity providers. (Click here) for a current listing of connectivity providers.
  2. Contact the connectivity provider(s) to understand your pricing options as pricing can vary depending on which features you select.
  3. If you are planning to develop in-house, please give your developer (this link) to enroll and access our Developer site. There is no fee for the resources and access.
  4. Work with your developer or connectivity provider to determine which of the following processes will meet your needs:
    • Are you going to use Inventory Verification?
    • If using Inventory Verification how will updates be made? Room and Rate Plan Level, Room Category, or both?
    • Will you be using Derived Pricing (Floating Rate, discount off BAR)?
    • What type of promotions will you be offering; Percentage Off, Dollar Off, Free Night, Value Add?
    • Are you going to use Booking Retrieval or Booking Notification?
  5. Complete the template by (clicking here) detailed instructions are provided on tab four, and return this form to  TravelocityConnect@Travelocity.com. Please also include the name of the connectivity provider you will be utilizing when you return the form.
    • Travelocity Connect Tab - All information should be completed
    • Products Tab - Complete all fields. The Room Code, Rate Code and Product Code should match exactly what is in your system and should be provided to your connectivity provider as well, so they can verify the correct mapping.
    • Backup Booking Email or Fax Tab
  6. Migration will be completed within five days of receipt of your template. While awaiting completion you will remain on your GDS connectivity so there is minimal downtime.
  7. Once migration has been completed, you will receive notification of completion from Travelocity Connect.
  8. After confirming status with your connectivity provider, email TravelocityConnect@Travelocity.com with the following required items;  Sabre Property ID, connectivity provider name and request to complete switch to Travelocity Connect. Note: We must receive an email from you requesting the switch with the required items.
  9. Begin pushing all updates through your connectivity provider. Verify rates and inventory are open 365 days out. Validate that all room types and rate plans are showing on the site.

Current Allocation (Extranet Partners)

  2. Contact the connectivity provider(s) to understand your pricing options as pricing can vary depending on which features you select.
  3. If you are planning to develop in-house, please give your developer (this link) to enroll and access our Developer site. There is no fee for the resources and access.
  4. Work with your developer or connectivity provider to determine which of the following processes will meet your needs
    • Are you going to use Booking Retrieval or Booking Notification?
    • Are you going to use Inventory Verification?
    • If using Inventory Verification how will updates be made? Room and Rate Plan Level, Room Category, or both?
    • Will you be using Derived Pricing (Floating Rate, discount off BAR)?
    • What type of promotions will you be offering; Percentage Off, Dollar Off, Free Night, Value Add?
  5. Establish connectivity with your provider and confirm mapping of all existing room codes and rate plans.
  6. After confirming status with your connectivity provider, email TravelocityConnect@Travelocity.com with the following required items;  Sabre Property ID, connectivity provider name and request to complete switch to Travelocity Connect. Note: We must receive an email from you requesting the switch with the required items.
  7. You will receive confirmation of the switch within 24-hours.
  8. Begin pushing all updates through your connectivity provider. Verify rates and inventory are open 365 days out. Validate that all room types and rate plans are showing on the site.
